We are a group of three specialists in Chronic Pain Management. We practice in Bingley, Yorkshire. Between us there is over 30 years of practicing pain management experience. We all work full time for the NHS as Consultant Anaesthetists with sub specialty of Chronic Pain. All of the specialists working at the Yorkshire Pain Solutions are registered with the General Medical Council, are on the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia and Chronic Pain. We are all, also Fellows of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
We each practice as individual specialists within a group practice structure. As individuals we all are members of Medical Indemnity Insurance Societies. All of our specialist doctors are trained and experienced in all aspects of Chronic Pain Management. We hold regular meetings for case discussions, and therefore utilize the broad range of experience we all can share.
We offer a 24 hour, 7 days a week cross cover for all patients, and can be contacted via the Yorkshire Clinic switchboard, in the very rare event of a complication.
We see both Self Funding Patients and Insured Patients. Please note all consultants in our team charge within the published range of fees for the Insurance Companies.
The normal structure of pain management starts with a consultation in the outpatients clinic, this includes a detailed recording of your pain and medical health, a clinical examination, diagnosis and treatment options. It is often necessary to have further investigations in the form of MRI scans or Blood tests, to enable a more accurate diagnosis.
If a treatment option is suggested, then it normally performed at a convenient time and date, in a sterile environment with X-RAY facilities to allow accurate placement of medication.
We do not currently see Paediatric pain patients ( under age of 18).
Our new service, Bionica Health, aims to improve access to medical cannabis for patients who struggle with chronic pain.
